Handling information with care

Privacy Statement

Clevaro is built on trust. That applies to organisations and processes, and equally to the personal data you share with us.

Version 17 July 2026Applies to clevaro.eu

This statement explains in clear language which personal data Clevaro processes, why we process it, how long we retain it and which rights you have.

1. Who is responsible?

Clevaro is the controller for personal data processed through this website and in the course of its services.

2. Which personal data do we process?

When you use our contact form or contact us directly, we may process your name and organisation, email address and telephone number, preferred date and time, the question or information you provide, subsequent correspondence and appointment details, and information required for an engagement, agreement, administration or invoice.

Clevaro does not request special-category personal data through this website. Please do not include such information in the form unless it is necessary and has been agreed with us in advance.

3. Why do we process this data?

We process personal data to respond to enquiries; discuss, prepare or perform a potential engagement; manage appointments, proposals, agreements and invoices; provide our services and communications with due care; comply with legal and tax obligations; and keep the website and digital environment secure and reliable.

The legal basis may be steps taken before or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or Clevaro’s legitimate interest in handling enquiries and organising its services. Where consent is legally required, we request it in advance.

4. With whom do we share data?

Clevaro does not sell personal data. We share data only where necessary for our services, website or legal obligations. This may include Netlify for hosting, secure connections and form processing; our email provider; and Google Fonts, but only after the visitor chooses to allow external fonts. Appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements are made where required. When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate legal safeguards are used.

5. How long do we retain data?

We retain personal data no longer than necessary. An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is generally retained for up to 12 months after the last contact. Project and customer data is retained for the duration of the relationship and afterwards only as needed for completion, questions or legal interests. Records forming part of the tax administration are generally retained for seven years as required by law.

6. Cookies and technical data

Clevaro does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not create visitor profiles. The site only remembers your privacy choice in local browser storage. External Google fonts are loaded only after you choose to allow them; technical information such as your IP address may then be shared with Google. The hosting provider may process limited technical data for security, diagnostics and reliable operation.

7. Security

Clevaro uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unwanted disclosure. The website uses HTTPS. No digital processing can, however, be entirely risk-free.

8. Your privacy rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, applicable data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Email info@clevaro.eu. We generally respond within one month and may verify your identity in an appropriate and minimally burdensome way.

9. Questions or complaints

Please first contact info@clevaro.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

10. Changes

Clevaro may update this statement when the website, its services or applicable law changes. The latest version and revision date are always published on this page.
